  Days after the central government decided to cancel CBSE Class 12 board exams 2021 in view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID-19, many state boards also decided to cancel the final exam of Class 12 this year. Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Haryana, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh followed the steps of CBSE and cancelled Class 10 and Class 12 exams. But Andhra Pradesh is set to conduct both SSC and Inter exams as per the schedule.         Recently, AP Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh has written a letter to Union Education MinisterRamesh Pokhriyal over conduction Intermediate exams in the state.   In the letter, the Andhra Minister has said the state is planning to conduct the intermediate exams in August and decides to declare the results within 40 days. He said the exam schedule will be announced 15 days prior to the exams.    Earlier, the Andhra Pradesh government had postponed the AP SSC Exam 2021 till further notice. CBSE 12th Board Exams From July 15 to August 26, Exam Pattern Likely to Change CBSE proposes to hold 12th board exams from July 15 to August 26. Final datasheet on June 1. The  Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)  is expected to hold class 12 board exams from July 15 to August 26. The exact date sheet for the same will be released on June 1 after the board holds a review meeting to access the feasibility of holding exams. The  board exams  will be held in offline mode. A section of students has been protesting on social media platforms seeking the cancelation of class 12 offline exams. The CBSE has proposed conducting exams between July 15 and August 26 and the result to be declared in September, according to sources. The final decision will be out on June 1. The exams, however, will not be held as per the regular protocol. CBSE had suggested either holding exams only or a few subjects or holding exams for 1.5 hours instead of three hours. It is to be noted that a total of 174 subjects are offered by the CBSE to Class 12 students, of which about 20 are considered major by the CBSE. Amid the growing clamour for cancellation of CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has proposed to conduct the  CBSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021  only for major subjects. It is to be noted that a total of 174 subjects are offered by the  CBSE to Class 12 students , of which about 20 are considered major by the CBSE. These include: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, History, Political Science, Business Studies, Accountancy, Geography, Economics, and English. A  Class 12 student of CBSE  is allowed to select a minimum of five and a maximum of six subjects. Of these, four subjects are usually treated as major subjects by the CBSE.
